Caravan Residential Parks Victoria (CRPVic) members are encouraged to register for the 2026 Member Training Day at BIG4 Bendigo Marong Holiday Park on Tuesday 24 March, 10.00am – 3.00pm.

A clear understanding of the regulatory framework that governs caravan park operations in Victoria is critical for all operators. One of the key advantages of CRPVic membership is access to practical, industry-specific guidance that helps you stay compliant and informed.

Member training is mandatory for at least one representative from each member park within 12 months of joining CRPVic. However, the session is equally valuable for experienced operators seeking a compliance refresher, as well as associate members who want a stronger grasp of the regulatory landscape.

The program delivers both an industry overview and guidance on key operational and legal responsibilities, including:

  • identifying and understanding your different patrons (site tenants, residents and annual occupants)
  • laws that apply to caravan park operations in Victoria
  • the purpose of park rules and the correct process for implementing or amending them
  • managing refunds, credits and cancellation policies appropriately
  • handling unpaid fees and managing arrears
  • processes for dealing with abandoned property
  • practical procedures and tips for navigating applications and hearings at Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT)
  • the new 2026 CFA Caravan Park Fire Safety Guidelines
  • upcoming Consumer Affairs Victoria Part 4A Site Agreements, commencing 1 July 2026.

The day also includes dedicated time for questions, providing members with the opportunity to raise specific operational or compliance matters.

Cost to attend is $170 per person. Sign up here.
