From Wednesday 19 February 2025, the Victorian Caravan Parks Association Incorporated will trade under the business name Caravan and Residential Parks Victoria.
The new business name, which replaces the name VicParks, was unveiled at last year’s conference.
The new business name reflects today’s more diversified association membership and the quality services we deliver to tourist parks and residential park members. It also eliminates the market confusion with the statutory authority Parks Victoria.
Caravan and Residential Parks Victoria is the same peak body delivering great outcomes for both tourist and residential caravan parks – just with a clearer identity.
Why the name change?
We consistently found that many people outside our membership had little understanding of the industry we represent, including people with a direct say in regulatory decisions that govern caravan park operations in Victoria.
Too often we were confused with Parks Victoria and Caravan Industry Victoria – the peak body for caravan manufacturers and retailers. Our new name better depicts who we are, who we represent and who we service.
The new name also better reflects the entire membership – tourist and mixed-use caravan parks and the fast growing residential (or land lease) park sector.
Industry connection and support
The new name is brought to life with an updated and modern type face, colours and logo, a key feature of which is the interlinked double ‘V’ that reflects association and member collaboration and support.
The spots and lines reflect the multitude of other people and organisations we talk to who can help deliver association and member success.
The tagline, Helping our members succeed since 1964, speaks to our fundamental role and attitude to helping our members and promoting the industry – through lobbying, legal guidance/templates, training and facilitating of connections and supplier relationships.
Caravan and Residential Parks Victoria seeks to continue to be highly valued and respected by all our members as we build our reputation as a proactive and influential peak body helping members succeed.

As the highly respected and trusted peak body for caravan park owners and operators since 1964, Caravan and Residential Parks Victoria supports, connects and represents more than 380 tourist and residential parks to optimise their viability and sustainability, and champion the sector as a valued provider of fabulous holidays and affordable residential accommodation in Victoria.
We do this by:
- Advocating for change to support an improved operating and investment environment for tourist and residential park owners
- Training tourist and residential park owners and managers to run compliant, profitable and sustainable businesses
- Providing access to legal guidance and tools to assist tourist and residential park owners manage guest and resident relationships
- Strengthening connections to ensure long-term success and satisfaction in operating a tourist or residential park
- Otherwise supporting all members to thrive as pillars of Victoria’s tourism and housing industries.
