CRPVic Team

Chief Executive Officer

Scott Parker joined the association as Chief Executive Officer in early 2020, weeks before the covid pandemic shut the industry down. Wondering how his new members were going to survive, Scott was taken by their extraordinary resilience – a respect that guides much of CRPVic’s decision-making today.

Having spent most of his career in senior peak body, sports management and corporate affairs roles, Scott was comfortable with leading through a crisis and brought to the role a willingness to make change. Before joining the association, as chief executive of Greyhounds Australasia, Scott led significant greyhound racing industry reform that was supported by all state racing jurisdictions and avoided disbandment.

After representing state sporting associations seeking a better deal from the state government while at the Sports Federation of Victoria, Scott leant on a representative playing career and landed his first CEO role at Basketball Victoria, replacing the iconic Lindsay Gaze, at the age of 29.

Having completed his MBA, Scott spent many years specialising in corporate affairs, providing strategic reputation management, internal communications and media relations guidance and outputs for senior leaders at Coles Myer Ltd and utilities company Jemena (Alinta). He also consulted to senior personnel in government departments and statutory authorities.

Building on the wonderful legacy of many, Scott is privileged to have led the recent transformation at CRPVic. With a Net Promoter Score in the high +70s every year since 2022, the association is now recognised by many members as critical in helping them succeed.

Married into a caravan and camping family, Scott loves chasing sunsets – one great Victorian location at a time.

General Manager, Tourist Parks

Gary Anderton is the General Manager for Tourist Parks at Caravan & Residential Parks Victoria. He leads the association’s advocacy, member engagement and industry development work for Victoria’s tourist park sector.

Drawing on more than 18 years of experience in senior political, policy and government relations roles, Gary works closely with tourist park owners and managers to ensure their interests are effectively represented in government decision-making.

Before joining CRPVic, Gary held several senior political roles across the Victorian Parliament. He was also Head of Government Relations at Parks Victoria where he led engagement with ministers, departments and other stakeholders on major policy and regulatory matters.

This experience gives Gary a deep understanding of how government works and how to advocate for stronger recognition of the sector’s significant contribution to the visitor economy.

Gary particularly enjoys working closely with park operators and helping translate their real-world challenges into policy outcomes that support stronger, more sustainable businesses across Victoria’s tourist park sector.

Communications Manager

Raised in regional Victoria, and spending her summer holidays at a CRPVic member park, Amanda Bolch commenced her career as a newspaper journalist in Victoria and Tasmania, reporting on local and state issues, before moving into corporate communications.

She joined the association in mid-2023 bringing a strong communications and marketing background across government and the not-for-profit sector, including senior roles with WorkSafe, the CFA and Fight Parkinson’s.

With a keen interest in the tourist sector, and having created and run her own website promoting family-friendly holiday accommodation for several years, Amanda jumped at the chance to join the association.

Since joining CRPVic, Amanda’s appreciation for the sector has grown tremendously and she loves nothing better than highlighting member achievements and growing industry connection through storytelling, particularly in The Parkie magazine, which she produces.

Amanda is also our key liaison with industry supplier (associate) members, ensuring they get great value from their relationships with us and our park members.

Kerry Galbraith provides the foundation of much of what we offer our members. Her CRPVic journey started in early 2019, she after returned to Melbourne from Queensland where she had been living with her family for 10 years.

Her primary responsibility is to ensure the office is ticking over well, looking after our accounts and payroll, and managing our office support contractors. She has broadened her role in recent years to include member liaison and enquiry support, database management and executive support.  She is usually the first port of call when you contact us.

Kerry loves getting to know our members including at our annual conference where she can put more faces to the names she has been helping throughout the year. Making sure we host a wonderful conference and awards dinner is something Kerry looks forward to every year and she plays an increasingly important role in the event’s preparation.
